Joakim Kemell was a first-round draft pick in 2022 by the Nashville Predators. Since that time, his stock has wavered, but all signs point to him making his NHL debut soon. What should we expect from him? Can he be a top-of-the-line-up player? Let's find out. 

The pride of Jyväskylä, Finland, Kemell developed in the JYP system. He put up impressive numbers for their under-16, under-18, and under-20 teams. In his draft season, Kemell played exclusively for the top JYP team in the Liiga. His 23 points in 39 games turned the heads of many scouts, especially impressive that he did that with only 15:54 total time on ice per game.
