Fantasy Hockey Feature: Logan Mailloux is getting closer to NHL action

Logan Mailloux was drafted 31st overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 2021. This selection was made with the full knowledge of his past transgressions. Four years later, Mailloux has played his first year of professional hockey and looks like a legit NHL prospect. Now that he’s close to NHL-ready, how high is his upside? Can he be the power-play quarterback of the future for the Canadiens? We will dig into those questions and more.

Mailloux played his junior hockey in the OHL for the London Knights. His draft minus one and draft season were heavily affected by COVID and he played few OHL games. His draft season was played in Sweden in the third division HockeyEttan where he had 15 points in 19 games. It was during his time in Sweden that he committed his regrettable act.
