Mocking the First 3 Rounds, 92 Picks of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. More than a year spent tracking the progress of hundreds of players, consulting with industry insiders, running the numbers, and it all comes down to this, the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

There will be 31 new player-organization relationships by the end of the day, and we’re going to try and preempt that with a prediction of which ones will come together.

Then, just for the fun of it, we’ve included a mock of the two rounds that will follow.

I don’t have a crystal ball, but I keep my ear to the ground, and I do hear things. So if you’re wondering whether this is a mock draft driven by what I think teams should do or what I suspect they’ll do, the answer is a little bit of both.
