It's hard to ignore the recent struggles of the Los Angeles Kings. With six consecutive losses, they've been outscored 20-12. Compounded by the Edmonton Oilers' upswing, they're rapidly losing ground in the Pacific.

Part of their downturn can be attributed to bad luck. Over the last six games, their PDO hovers around 96, with a slightly below-average save percentage (just under .900) and an exceptionally low shooting percentage (just under 6.1 percent). While there's a reasonable expectation for improvement given the team's talent, the concerning issue lies in their slipping process.
