The EliteProspects Rinkside 2020 NHL Entry Draft Finnish Skaters Watch List

One could say of this year’s crop of draft-eligible talent coming out of Finland that it’s a relatively mediocre batch. It’s possible that we’ll see only one Finnish player cross that stage in the first round — although, I’d bet on a number closer to two or three.

There’s ample talent for the second- and third-round, but unlike in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, this group remains, again, relatively mediocre.

Although many of the players here have been top talents and on my radar for a few years now, there are also a couple of names who have made big strides early in the season and who I wouldn’t have considered legit prospects just a few months ago.
